All submissions are reviewed by the Nanoprobe Network administrative staff before posting to the A/V Center. Please include as much information about the video, audio or image files as possible. Submissions without your name, a caption/description and attribution will not be accepted. Likewise, copyrighted material will not be accepted. If you have not registered as a member of the Nanoprobe Network, you complete the membership registration here.

To Submit Images for Consideration:

Images will be posted in low-resolution JPG or GIF format, but we can link to high-resolution versions of the images if they are available. You may submit images via email ONLY if they are smaller than 500KB in file size. For larger image file sizes, please provide access either by FTP or through a direct link from a website (e.g., http://www.website.com/image.jpg). Send an email to nnadmin@seas.upenn.edu and, if needed, include information for accessing the file (FTP login/password or direct web link). Include a brief description of each image, and include an attribution to the source or publication if appropriate. After review, the image(s) will be posted to the site for viewing/download. Please allow 1-3 business days for the review to take place.

We welcome image submissions at any time. Images submitted before Friday, July 31, 2009 will be evaluated by a panel of SPM experts, and the user who submits the winning image will be awarded an Apple iPod Nano©!

To Submit Video for Consideration:

You must upload the video to YouTube first. Once that is done, send an email to nnadmin@seas.upenn.edu and include the direct URL to the video. After review, we will post the video to the website using the embedded YouTube browser.

To Submit Audio for Consideration:

Audio files must be in MP3 format. The file must be available for us to retrieve either by FTP or through a direct link from a website (e.g., http://www.website.com/audio.mp3). To submit audio for consideration, send an email to nnadmin@seas.upenn.edu and include information for accessing the file (FTP login/password ,or direct web link). After review, the MP3 will be posted to the site for download. Please allow 1-3 business days for the review to take place.

To Submit Presentations for Consideration:

Presentations will be posted in PDF, PowerPoint, or Flash format. You may submit presentations via email ONLY if they are smaller than 10 MB in file size. Please use “.zip” format if possible. For larger file sizes, please provide access either by FTP or through a direct link from a website (e.g., http://www.website.com/presentation.ppt). Send an email to nnadmin@seas.upenn.edu and include information for accessing the file (FTP login/password or direct web link). Include a brief description of the presentation, and include an attribution to the source if appropriate. After review, the presentation(s) will be posted to the site for viewing/download. Please allow 1-3 business days for the review to take place.
