New Applications for HarmoniX in Fluids:

Ultrastructure Morphology and Mechanical Property Measurements of Plant Tissues using the BioScope Catalyst™ AFM

Join us to learn how Veeco’s proprietary HarmoniX™ Nanoscale Material Property Mapping Mode, in concert with fluorescence microscopy and MIRO Image Registration Overlay, can be utilized in fluid environments to determine critical structure and morphology of plant tissues.

Dr. Alex Berquand, Life Science Applications Scientist from Veeco, will preview several examples of the use of HarmoniX mode in fluids, highlighting critical differences in AFM parameters for working in fluids vs. air.

Dr. Cedric Gaillard, from the Institut National de la Receherche Agronomique (INRA) in France will then present his research correlating wheat grain ultrastructure morphology to overall grain properties and processing behavior of grain and cereal products.
