			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A distinguished panel is meeting in the Washington DC  area to consider  current challenges, opportunities and future directions in probes of  local properties and publish its findings in a report sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy.   On<font color="#ff0000"> <strong>Monday, Sept  29, 3:15 to 4:30 pm Eastern Time (U.S.)</strong></font> the panel will host a live forum to  elicit input  and active discussion on this important topic from <span id="more-115"></span> scanning probe researchers.</p>
